My Dad would be a lion because he likes challenges and my Mum would be a golden retriever because she is warm and kind and my brother would be a Otter because he is CRAZY and my good friend Nicole would be an Otter the same as me because she is crazy and fun loving.

Waitangi day

Why are these people carrying this banner?

In the 1840's on the 6th February the treaty of Waitangi was signed in Waitangi, Bay of islands by 40 maori chiefs and the british crown but later over 500 more people signed the treaty. 

The banner was getting carried because people didn't think the treaty was getting honoured enough.
Then in the 1970 the protesting increased because more and more people didn't the that the treaty was getting honoured.

Waitangi means water tears and because the chiefs didn't know how to write they uses symbols and crosses.
